Cooperation is the starting point at Waarderpolder Haarlem Business park. For many years now the entrepreneurs represented by the Industriekring Haarlem (IKH) have been cooperating with the municipality. That has yielded great results: a business park that has become a model for restructuring and is ready for growth in the digital economy, innovative manufacturing industry and circular entrepreneurship.
Every five years – since 2004 – entrepreneurs and the municipality sign a covenant containing outline agreements. The covenant has developed into a ‘coalition agreement’ for the Waarderpolder and is executed by the Stichting Parkmanagement Waarderpolder.

Park management carries out the agreements
Park management Waarderpolder is the point of contact for all enterprises located in the Business Park. It takes care of the collective security, conducts the management for maintenance and provides services and advice to companies concerning a wide array of matters. Energy saving, circular entrepreneurship, industrial premises, trainee posts, optical fibre and collective signposting, to name just a few.

IKH represents the entrepreneurs
The Industriekring Haarlem (IKH) at present is the mouthpiece of more than 150 enterprises in the Waarderpolder. The IKH combines the resources of entrepreneurs and takes care of collective matters on which individual entrepreneurs have hardly any influence at all. Cleanliness, functionality, security, an innovative business climate and an accessible business park are the spearheads.
Apart from acting as representative, IKH is the discussion partner for the municipality and together with the municipality it is the joint commissioner for Park management. IKH also partners with Stagebureau Connectie.
